On this week's edition of Washington Watch Radio: When the good citizens of California are seeking to overturn activist judges by Constitutionally defining marriage, how low will marriage opponents sink in their fight to advance the homosexual agenda? The Attorney General - Jerry Brown - this week has made a blatant attempt, using made up facts, to purposefully deceive and misstate the purpose of Prop 8 - the Constitutional Amendment to define marriage. We've got the latest "live" from California. PLUS: Why are Senate Democrats deeming it "unethical" for Doctor Tom Coburn - a senator from Oklahoma - to deliver babies... for free? THEN DON'T MISS FRCNews - Where we launch a hard hitting look at the disgusting use of YOUR tax dollars by Planned Parenthood. Chuck Donovan, Dawn Eden and Charmaine Yoest lend analysis to this shocking eye-opener being tracked by Kevin McCullough, overlooking Capitol Hill.

On this week's edition of Washington Watch Radio: The 3rd and 4th Circuit Courts made a mockery of common sense and seem to abdicating their basic duties to protect our children. With precedent-setting decisions that could take much work and time to overturn, Tony Perkins sounds off on the judicial tyranny and social recklessness the court seems bent on creating. Then we welcome FRC's own Vice President for Policy Peter Sprigg to give us a first hand report on his experience witnessing the first Congressional hearing on the issue of homosexual conduct within the military to be held in the last 15 years. Finally we will also talk to Congressman Dave Weldon (R-Fla) on the important stand HHS is taking to protect the conscience of medical professionals. Shockingly - conscience is something that now must be protected by policy. IN FRCNews - David Nammo, Chuck Donovan, and Charmaine Yoest lend analysis to stories being tracked by Kevin McCullough, overlooking Capitol Hill.

On this edition of Washington Watch - Imagine being sentenced to a life sentence of SILENCE on a core conviction related to the Christian faith.
Personal Faith, Public Policy
by Tony Perkins and Bishop Harry Jackson
With the presidential nominees soon to be finalized, many are wondering where religious Americans will land. In their new book, Personal Faith, Public Policy (FrontLine; March 2008), Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, and Bishop Harry Jackson, chairman of the High Impact Leadership Coalition and senior pastor of Hope Christian Church, argue that the religious Right is not falling apart; rather it is growing, expanding, and being rejuvenated. Jackson and Perkins write that the religious Right has experienced significant growth in recent years, becoming more diverse in a number of important ways, from race to age to political affiliation; however, they conclude that unifying these coalitions has been and will continue to be a challenge to the religious Right.

In an effort to unite these diverse coalitions, Jackson and Perkins advocate building upon the pro-life, pro-family issues that have been the mainstay of the religious Right. They intend to expand the religious Right's influence into immigration policy, poverty and social justice, racial reconciliation, and global warming.
