Throughout history, we have venerated and highly esteemed those who - in the midst of temptation, turmoil, trials and troubles - have stayed the course and followed God, unmoved by the opposition they faced. Daniel is one such man.

Credit itself is not good or bad; it's a tool you can control for good or which can control you when the debt becomes too overwhelming. Paul uses another kind of credit when dealing with reconciliation between a slave and his master.

One of the most popular hymns of all times is "Amazing Grace." Perhaps the reason is that we can all identify with the hopeless condition of the lost and the amazing grace of God that is able to save the most wretched soul. But how is God's grace revealed in the Scriptures?

When God spoke through His prophets, He had them use real life experiences or even act out their messages. Hosea was told to marry a prostitute, Ezekiel dug through a wall in his house, and Joel used a locust storm to make his point. And in Jeremiah's prophecy we find one of the most familiar prophetic illustrations of all.

It was back in 1941 that Dr. J. Vernon McGee was persuaded to begin a Sunday radio broadcast called The Open Bible Hour on a single station. That little program aimed at "Mr. Average American" was the foundation stone for what would eventually become Thru the Bible Radio.

Dr. McGee was an active participant in this radio ministry for 47 exciting years. When his health began to fail, plans were made in advance to decide how the program would continue in the event of his homegoing. The message would remain the same and the "voice" of Thru the Bible Radio would continue to be Dr. McGee, through the use of the taped 5-year program.

After our Savior called Dr. McGee home in 1988, the program's reach continued to grow. Today, Thru the Bible is a worldwide ministry airing on over 800 stations in the U.S. and Canada, and heard in more than 100 languages around the world. Our mission is simple and the same one Dr. McGee himself embraced: To take the whole Word to the whole world.

The continued success of this ministry, even after the death of its founder, gives testimony to God's abundant blessings.
