Three Principles of Discipleship (1 of 2)
Eddie Snipes
What does discipleship mean? One definition is "one who embraces and assists in spreading teaching." This describes one of our greatest responsibilities as Christians that is laid out in Matthew 28:18-20. However, the term seems intimidating to some.

The key to discipleship, though, is not complex. It is something that we've all experienced from our early childhood. The key is being a friend.

In his sermon, "Three Principles of Discipleship," Eddie Snipes conveys the importance of friendship in order to disciple and spread the Gospel. He states that our relationships should not be on the surface, but go deeper into true friendship. Once this relationship and trust is built, we will be able to encourage one another and keep each other accountable.

"Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
